I'm pleased to announce my upcoming concept album, Hellfire, is available for Pre-Order!
Stuffed to a brim that's fit to burst, this record sets out to paint a vivid picture of the end of the world, and what happens to a girl who is caught up in the emergent chaos. Cheeky chuckles, lots of drugs, some hasty fucks, and a few rolled up rugs lead her to being locked up in a mental institution while the world outside is razed to the ground.
Hey, Marie? What are these tags for? What the hell does it feel like something has burrowed inside of me?
"Don't worry about it, Zoey."
You'd best come correct to this show if you want to come out alive. Who knows... You may even come out on top of the world, if you properly prepare for what's to come.
As always thoughts are greatly appreciated!
4 previously released tracks are available to stream now and the rest of the album dops on the 31st!
My new album, Tracking Sounds 2, is now available for Pre-order on Bandcamp!
Featuring a wide array of dark sounds plundered from film, TV, and video game soundtracks, this cinematic masterpiece is the sequel to my previously released album, Tracking Sounds. A plethora of movie quotes, samples, and beats abound!
Opening with sleeping in the ground, we're thrust into a world that is on the brink of destruction. By what or whom you may ask? That is very much up to the interpretation of the listener. Ambiguous from the jump, we're not quite clear on what has led to the end of civilization exactly, but as laid out in root, we're led to believe that it originated in Russia.
Hi all! It's been a while since my last news post, eh?
I've started work on a book, the first in what will more than likely be a series of three, which will use story elements from my previously released Fae Kings and Elven Queens EP.
Enbenite
A half-fae/half-human young woman finds herself transported to her ancestral faerie home. With nothing but the clothes on her back, her trusty water radar, and her wits, she seeks a Fae king with whom she has fallen in love, all while dodging the numerous mythical creatures she never even knew existed.
This will take up a considerable amount of my free time, so beats and raps are taking a back seat for the foreseeable future.
Unless I hear something like this A.A. Williams track I happened upon a couple of days ago which thusly influenced me to cop it on her Bandcamp, and then sampled for The Levee Breaks. The title being the same one I've used for chapter three of the book, any music I make will probably be a part of the larger narrative I'm trying to tell.
I'm hoping to have a rough draft finished by the end of next Summer at the latest. If I really hammer this out, I might even be done with the first book by the end of the year, or the end of Summer if I work hard enough. The latter is probably not a good idea, as I don't want to get burnt out doing something I've loved to do for the last 10 years. I tried taking a creative writing class in High School about 14 years ago, but I don't do well with structured prompts, and vibe and fuck with freeform things. Also, I was an extremely bad writer back then, so I'm glad I gave up writing back then. It's allowed me the time to mature, both creatively as well as in general.
I've learned a lot over the last 10 years. My 20's were fraught with a lot of troubles, not the least of which was probably coming out as a Transwoman in 2014, at 20. The former has probably complicated my life more than anything else before or since. Sure, I was also officially diagnosed as having Autism Spectrum Disorder when I was 22. Regardless of that, in most ways I'm much happier now than I was a decade ago.
This is getting a little longer than I'd like, but I hope this helps explain where I'll be over the next year or so.
I just dropped a colossal fuckton of beats on my Bandcamp!
Lots of variation. Primarily jazz, funk and soul samples fused with a myriad of break loops and chopped funk and rock and roll records. Some anime, emo rock, heavy metal, and RnB thrown in for good measure too!
I just dropped a beattape that's been in the works for a year and some change. Some of the beats are really old and were previously uploaded in various places, like my YouTube (tracks 9, 35, 39) SoundCloud (tracks 8, 15, 22, 23, 27, 28) and here on NG (most of the others.)
Well, my hard drive crashed at 6 PM this Wednesday. I was working on some sick material too, but everything from the last two months is now gone. I made a back up of my FL 20 folder in July, thank Christo!
No fresh material for a while, until I get the hard drive replaced. 💾 😫😪
I'll probably drop some older stuff in the coming weeks.
A concept that follows a girl as she pines for sex, gets raped by a male stranger, has a miscarriage, gets lost in an abandoned mall, goes on a shopping spree in a different mall, and then commits suicide by jumping off the roof of the latter mall.
