Siiick! Absolutely lovely remake! Nice addition with the bassy EQ'ing of the Vinylistics breakbeat. How did you make the strings at 1:21?

10/10 5/5

DJ-LuigiSound2 responds:

Tysm. That string is a sample from AMG 260db CD sample

Siiiick! I need an album!

Anjovi responds:

Thanks! I can at least say that there's more to come :)

How do you just find straight heat? Forget to drop it back in the day? lol

Those horns halfway through are dope!

5/5 10/10

B-RadGfromOV responds:

I thought I'd work on it more at the time.

Thanks!

Really reminds me of the country music I've been introduced to via my Yellowstone binge-watch a few weeks ago. Lovely picking! I think I'm gonna sample this joint! <3

B-RadGfromOV responds:

Thank you kindly. Hope you do sample it that'd be interesting.

Daaamn, that beat is fire! That yours?

Love the lyrics here. You always bring some fresh bars!

Anjovi responds:

Thanks Libby! This was one of my koala sampler beats that I tried to record into fl for mastering. haha, you can tell if i ever do this by the high frequency humming that goes off in the recording.

Yeah, I'd reccomend it to anyone given how affordable it is and how that sp-404 workflow can help spur some ideas and give you a new modality to mess with your music (those fx)

Some great lyricism here. I looove the underground Canadian MC vibes this gives me.

B-rad's beat is fire as always. Every time he delivers on that smooth ish, 100%.

Does the fact that it isn't mentioned in the credits (related Audio) have something to do with my assumption that you commissioned it from him, or is it simply uncredited as of release?

I absolutely love off-kilter flows, so if you still have the original acapella, I'd love to take a stab at making a beat around it, if you'll allow me the honor.

Great bars Anj! I'll get around to reviewing your latest LP when I finish listening to it!

5/5 10/10

Anjovi responds:

No; B-rad's just giving me the blessing to ryhme on it. I must've overlooked inviting him to the project >.<

Thanks for that heads up I'll look into it. Otherwise, I'll look into shooting you an accapella of this :)

Much love!

I'm getting heavy Aphex Twin SAW2 vibes from those pads! What'd you use to make them?

Lovely piece! Sets out what it aims to do! Those cries at 2:30 were a nice touch!

That airy pad at 2:37 is really cool!

No qualms to speak of I love everything about this piece! 5/5 10/10

Drakensson responds:

Thank you Libby. The pad is from the Spitfire LABS pack Textural Pads.
As you may know, the LABS series are free stand-alone plugins by Spitfire.
There are practically new additions every month

Thank you for listening and giving feedback Libby

Yoooo, this is sick! Are the Rhodes and Trumpet made with Nexus, or did you record it?

Casper responds:

the trumpet might be from korg triton, i don't remember but both have lots of effects on them to make them sound more realistic/fit into the mix better

Always comin' with that unique laidback G flav! I love the piano in this. Those horns are sick too!

B-RadGfromOV responds:

Thank you my friend
