Dooope sample!

Very lo-fi track.

I like the way the piano falls off-kilter near the end of the first half, though I wish this had more variation.

Dig the last bit too.

thanks man

Interesting use of Time Stretching in the beginning. I dig the sample, the chops are nice and it's cool how you switched this up with the vocals later on. I wish it was longer tho. 4/5 8/10

DJDureagon responds:

Thanks. it'll be longer once its all done.... hopefully.

That harp is divine.

That synth sound is interesting, sample or homemade synth?

Dope beat bruv!

B-RadGfromOV responds:

All samples. The strings sound like a synth cause of the flanger effect I put on it.

Hawt drums, those guitars are crying...

The keysin the center remind me of the Beatles or The Kinks.

Love it all!

Happy early 5th birthday!

ForgottenDawn responds:

Thank you for enjoying the track and remembering my 5th anniversary~

Is there a side-chain on the break making the hiss beneath it go down, or is that all in the sample?

The bass and main sample reminds me of Ninja Tune records, but the vocal sample adds a soul vibe akin to 9th Wonder.

As always, I would love to hear you make a beat that's got a little more love put into it.

Just my .02

B-RadGfromOV responds:

Myep, kick is separate from the break and sidechained to a couple things (including break which carries the most hiss here).

You're absolutely right I should put more care and make these tracks longer, more diverse. Used to do that a lot more, been focusing on other stuff though these days and seem to just leave it as loops. At least it can loop here, and if someone wants to rap on it, it's ready to go for restructuring. But there still will be times when I get a passion for a beat and it goes farther, sure.

Thanks as always for list'nin

Mixed Up Cup snare is dope.

The effects you got on this are fucking with my head in the best way.

That piano soothes the machinations of my consciousness.

B-RadGfromOV responds:

Thanks, o' break scholar.

Yeah the main sample switches to a gated pan+filter. Sorta made room in the mix for the piano sample.

As always thanks for the words

That snare tho! Wot iz dat?

B-RadGfromOV responds:

Pretty lowkey drum break, kinda dull and quiet. so that snare, plus a generic snap sound, pitched kinda low.

Mmm, dat vocal at the beginning, lovely atmosphere setting.

Love the drum fill at :57, nice change-up after with the geetar too.

I still don't hear that melody that I heard at the end of HoneyPot... Fang, there it is, at the end again. >. <

Psych us out, fair enough.

8/10 4/5

B-RadGfromOV responds:

That is the original song melody, I didn't want to rip it off too hard. sorry :P

Dope piano loop in the stereo separated area. It sounds familiar....

My only complaint is that this is far too short and in need of a change-up. A b-section would greatly compliment the verse structure gong on now.

Regardless, I like the kick drum and taken as a little diddle, this is wunderbar.

4/5 9/10

B-RadGfromOV responds:

Thanks. This is one of those that I didn't really want to do anything else with but it does have potential. The drums are what I really like about it.
